The only novel by A. Vetlugin (Vladimir Ilyich Ryndzyun), a journalist who in 1922 contributed to the Berlin Change of Landmarks newspaper Nakanune and later worked as a translator in the United States. Almost every description names the Berlin house Russkoye Tvorchestvo as publisher; the attribution of the printing to Gutnov’s press rests on a single bibliographic reference in an academic volume and has not been checked against the copy itself.
