Dmitry Alexeyevich Gutnov

A historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences (2006), and professor at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University and at the Moscow Conservatory. He was born in Moscow on 11 March 1963 and graduated from the Faculty of History at Moscow State University in 1985. His research interests include the history of higher education in Russia, the history of Moscow University, the history of Russian–French cultural relations, and historiography. He is the son of Alexey Elbrusovich Gutnov and the grandson of Elbrus and Evgenia Vladimirovna Gutnov. It was Dmitry Gutnov who published the correspondence between Eugen and Elbrus Gutnov in Bibliophile News, No. 17.
