Summer is wonderful time of the year when you can refresh your body with vitamins.

Last week I prepared vegetable rolls. Frankly speaking, my husband didn’t understand at first that he was eating healthy and substantial food which didn’t contain a gram of meat.

Ingredients:

   1. Cabbage, 500 gr.
   2. Carrots, 200 гр.
   3. Sweet pepper, 300 gr.
   4. Onion, 200 gr.
   5. 1 garlic
   6. Vegetable oil, 50 gr.
   7. Sour cream, 200 gr.
   8. Salt
   9. Black milled pepper

Preparation:

  1. Take onion, carrot, sweet pepper and cut finely. Fry in vegetable oil.
  2. Cut 1/3 part of head of cabbage (near the cabbage stump). Put the remaining piece of cabbage into a pan. The cut should be upwards, pour over with boiling water, then cover and let it stay till it will get cool.
  3. Take the cabbage out of water, divide into separate leaves.
  4. Cut finely the smallest leaves in the center of the cabbage head.
  5. Mix the cut cabbage with the other vegetables, add salt and pepper.
  6. Put some mince on the inner part of cabbage leaf. Then cover the mince with the bottom part of the leaf, fold the sides of the leaf and roll.
  7. Put the stuffed cabbage rolls on the baking tray, pour sour cream over the rolls and bake in an oven on a medium heat for 20-25 min.
