For those who like fish I suggest very tasty salad. Every housewife can find a recipe in her cookery book, but each cooks it in a different way. Here is my variant!

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  1. 200g canned saury(fish) 
  2. 4 eggs 
  3. 1 big carrot 
  4. 1 onion 
  5. 2 potatoes 
  6. 200-250g mayonnaise

Preparation:

  1.  Boil jacket potatoes (without peeling them), carrot, and eggs. 
  2. Mash the canned fish with a fork. 
  3. Chop the onion into small pieces. If you don’t like fresh onion, you may fry it with some oil. 
  4. The salad is laid in layers:
    1st layer – put some mayonnaise on the bottom of a bowl. Spread it there well.
    2nd layer – grate potatoes.
    3rd layer – spread the mashed canned fish.
    4th layer – put the chopped onion.
    5th layer – spread some mayonnaise.
    6th layer – grate the carrot finely. Season it with pepper slightly.
    7th layer – grate the egg whites finely.
    8th layer – again mayonnaise.
    9th layer - grate the yolks finely.
  5. Decorate with some greens (dill, parsley)

Advice:

This salad can be served both in a big bowl and in small portion dishes.
