It is really quite difficult to prepare pork in order to make it soft and delicate.  Frankly speaking, I’m a little bit sick of ordinary pork chops and that’s why today I offer you a recipe of rolls with prunes.

If you don’t like prunes, you can use nuts or mushrooms instead.

Ingredients:

  1. Lean pork, 500 гр.
  2. Salt
  3. Black milled pepper
  4. Oregano, ½ tea spoon.
  5. Prunes,300 gr.
  6. 2 onions.
  7. Vegetable oil, 2 table spoons.
  8. Garlic, 1 clove
  9. Aluminium foil.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the meat into thin slices (3-5 mm.). Beat well.
  2. Sprinkle the meat with salt, pepper and oregano.
  3. Soak off the prunes in boiling water for10-15 min. And cut into pieces.
  4. Peel the onions, cut finely and fry in vegetable oil.
  5. Mix the prunes with fried onion and crushed garlic.
  6. Put the mass on the slices of pork and roll in.
  7. Wrap the rolls into the foil, put them onto a baking pan, pour there some water in order to cover the bottom of the baking pan and bake for an hour at 180-200 C.

 Tips:

You can cook these rolls beforehand and then warm them up, putting the wrapped rolls into a pan with boiling water (boil for 3 min.).
