Actually mousse is pudding, which you can buy in the shop. The only difference is that here innocuous ingredients are used, it has original taste and it is very fresh.

By the way, the taste of the home-made mousse is much better than that bought in the shop. The only recommendation: don’t overdo with brandy if you cook the mousse for your children.  Your husband can have brandy separately.

Time for preparation: 30 min + chilling

Ingredients:

  1. 150ml cream
  2. 150g low-fat curds
  3. 300g chocolate
  4. 1 spoon of brandy

Preparation:

  1. Melt 100g chocolate on a steam bath, add brandy and stir.
  2. Rub curds through a sieve, chill it. Then whisk the curds with a mixer, add cold cream and mix with chilled chocolate.
  3. Pour the mouse in ice-cream bowls and leave in the fridge for 1 hour.
  4. Chop the rest of chocolate and decorate the mousse with it.
