Boiled beef is simple traditional dish. Cook this classical dish and you’ll understand why it’s so popular even nowadays.
Time for preparation: 10 min + freezing
Time for cooking: 1 hour and 45 min
Ingredients for 6-8 portions:
1.4kg inside part of hip cut or breast (beef)
2 bay leaves
450g carrot
4 onions
Pepper corn
2 sticks of cloves
Greens for decoration
This sauce will perfectly do for veal. It will make dishes sappier and more substantial. Besides, its bright colour will mark out the main course.

Time for cooking: 15 min
Ingredients for 4 portions:
2 spoons of oil
125ml port
2 spoons of brandy
2 teaspoons of pepper corn
3-4 spoons of cream
Salt
Milled black pepper
