The taste, familiar from childhood…

I don’t need many words to explain it – you should bake the pies and take pleasure of memories with a glass of milk and a heap of pies. Invite your friends and admire your pastime!

Ingredients:

  1. 1 kg flour
  2. 0.5l milk
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 2 spoons of sugar
  5. 2 spoons of vegetable oil
  6. 30g yeast

For filling:

  1. 500g apples
  2. 2 spoons of sugar
  3. 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Preparation of filling:

  1. Wash, peel apples, remove the middles, slice the apples, sprinkle with sugar and braise a little.
  2. Add grounded cinnamon and mix.

Pies preparation:

  1. Warm milk.
  2. Dissolve yeast in it, add eggs, salt, sugar.
  3. Knead pastry adding flour, and then oil.
  4. Leave it in a warm place, covered with a cloth, for 2.5 hours.
  5. When the pastry expands, push it with your hands and leave for another 40-50 min. Then push it again and put on hardboard.
  6. Cut the pastry into pieces and roll them out. They should be pancakes 1 cm thick.
  7. Put the filling on the centre of each pancake (2-3 spoons) and join the edges.
  8. Put the pies on a smeared pan leave for 20-25 min at room temperature, smear them with whisked egg and put in a hot stove. Bake at the temperature of 190-200°C.

Advice:

Taste the apple filling and if there is little sugar, add some more.
